JR Jordan
Chief Executive Officer
J.R. Jordan, CEO of As One Insurance Group, brings over 25 years of industry experience. He began in the family business, CBS Insurance, where he quickly developed a passion for life and health insurance, specializing in ancillary products like critical illness and accident coverage. His focus later shifted to employee benefits, where he and his team worked to close care gaps with real-time, high-quality solutions.
Jimmy Jordan
Chief Revenue Officer
Licensed since the age of 18 and working in the industry since his early 20s, Jimmy brings a wealth of experience to As One Insurance Group. From his start selling individual health insurance, to working with his father and brother, J.R., on creating the marketing for a critical illness insurance product for a national company, to his role as president at CBS Insurance, Jimmy has had the opportunity to familiarize himself with nearly every facet of the industry. Sales, marketing, product development, finance, and agent training are all skills and passions Jimmy brings to AOIG.
Brandon Diggs
Chief Technical Officer
In his role as Chief Technology Officer at As One Insurance Group, Brandon specializes in connecting people to insurance products through the means of technology. That’s a big role to fill, especially in an industry that has been lagging behind on the technology front. When he began working in insurance, Brandon saw that lag and started working with companies to identify their wants and needs and match them with the technological capabilities to fill in the gaps. Brandon brings to AOIG his expertise from his role as founder and CEO of MarketCentric, an insurance marketing and technology company.
Ryan Sharrah
Chief Product Officer
Ryan has been in the insurance industry for 20 years, starting out in the supply room of a third-party administrator, where he spent his free time reading up on the individual medical and group medical plans the TPA specialized in. Ryan became a non-medical underwriter and marketing and sales assistant before becoming licensed to sell insurance at the age of 18. Ryan joins As One Insurance Group from The IHC Group, where he most recently served as vice president of call center distribution, managing relationships with large national accounts.
Nate Plett
Chief Operating Officer
Nate graduated from the University of Arizona with degrees in Economics and Entrepreneurship. He is a serial entrepreneur and has been building successful enterprises for 15 years. His experience is primarily based in sales and franchising. Nate successfully started, grown and sold multiple companies into nationwide players worth millions. With years of experience in growing and managing franchisees it was a perfect fit for growing and managing the As One network. He oversees sales channels for As One Insurance Group.

Laurie Lunsford
Office Manager
Laurie Lunsford was born and raised in Arizona where she lives with her husband of 20+ years and her beautiful daughter. Laurie has worked for As One Health for the past 20+ years, starting out in new business processing and moving up to her current post as the As One Office Manager. In addition to managing the office Laurie also processes contracts for new agents, and helps agents keep track of and resolve any issues with submitted business and policy amendments. Her extensive experience at As One makes her an invaluable asset and vital part of the team.
Kathy Darling
Accountant
Kathy Darling is a seasoned finance professional with over 20 years of experience in corporate finance, strategic financial planning, and business leadership. As a part-time CFO and entrepreneur, she has a proven track record of helping businesses optimize financial performance, drive sustainable growth, and navigate complex financial landscapes.
L.J. Jordan
Brokerage Administration and Licensing
L.J. (Lori Jordan) grew up in Florida and graduated with a Bachelor in Arts & Sciences from the Florida State University in 1992. She majored in Psychology with a minor in Communications. L.J. has held a Life/Health license for more than 15 years. She’s made a home in FL where she has been living for the past 4 years. L.J. watched her father (James Eric Jordan Sr.) build a long and successful career in the insurance industry and has worked for the family companies for over two decades. L.J. is currently serving as a Brokerage Manager to help maintain company sustainability.
Jonathan Jordan
Agent Services Representative
Johnny joins As One Health as a fourth-generation insurance professional, coming from the long line of Jordan pros. Growing up around his father, uncle and grandfather’s businesses, Johnny knew early on that he wanted to join the family business — and take it to the next level. In his role as new business specialist, Johnny provides support to agents and the As One Insurance team.

Dr. Ahmad Shir
Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Ahmad A. Shir is an internist in Tucson, Arizona and is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including TMC Healthcare-Tucson and Carondelet St. Joseph’s Hospital. He received his medical degree from American University of Antigua College of Medicine and has been in practice between 6-10 years. Dr. Ahmad A. Shir has expertise in treating asthma, aneurysm, coronary artery disease, among other conditions – see all areas of expertise. Dr. Ahmad A. Shir accepts Medicare, Aetna, Cigna, Blue Cross, United Healthcare – see other insurance plans accepted.
Matt Behrens
Matt Behrens is an experienced investor, board member and partner to executive teams. Matt’s experience as an institutional investor and board member spans nearly all industries, including consumer goods, distribution, media, oil and gas, manufacturing, travel, B2B service, healthcare services, event ticketing, food kiosks, direct lending, and more. Prior to becoming an active investor, Matt was a management consultant at a top strategy consulting firm and an engineer at a large defense contractor. He earned bachelors degrees in electrical engineering, mathematics and economics from the University of Arizona and an MBA in Global Management from Thunderbird.
Paul Rooney
I am Chief Growth Officer at Aloe Care Health, where I lead the business development, growth, and strategy for the world’s first comprehensive solution to keep seniors safe and connected to their care network. With 20 years of experience in healthcare and insurtech, I have a passion for creating and executing innovative solutions that address the needs and challenges of older adults and their caregivers.
Alan Hall
Alan has established himself as an expert in the creation of insured programs. His expertise comes from over 40 years in the insurance industry. He has served as a claims adjuster, reinsurance claims manager, underwriter (Lloyd’s of London Syndicate) and marketing manager. For the past eighteen years, Alan has run his own insurance agency specializing in program development.
